  2. I have a bizarre infatuation with the 3D conversion of Jaws (1975)

To clarify, Jaws (1975) 3D, not Jaws 3-D (1983) So in 2022, Universal re-released Jaws in IMAX 2D and in a new 3D conversion. I didn't have an IMAX near me, which meant I had to settle for the 3D conversion. Now I have a soft spot for 3D, I remember being a kid and nearsighted but not yet realizing I needed glasses somehow.

  7. Why did the original Jaws (1975) never received a modern

A lot of studios would attempt CGI which I personally think has never looked good on any shark movie that's been put out since Jaws and the mechanics of the original shark made shooting Jaws an absoloute nightmare for all cast and crew, though technology has advanced massively since 1975 I still think they would struggle.

  8. Thoughts on 'Jaws' (1975)? My favourite film of all time.

Mar 4, 2015 · It was probably the first great shark film, and also arguably the last, as there hasn't been a shark film that came out after Jaws that was as effective as Jaws was. There has been countless stupid shark films like Jaws 3, Jaws: Revenge, Sharknado etc., but none of them have tarnished the legacy that the first Jaws has, as it is simply timeless.

  9. r/Jaws on Reddit: Excuse me while I give a little rant regarding the ...

Dec 12, 2022 · Anyway, if there's one thing that I've learned from Jaws, it's that if a protagonist dies, there should at least be a sense of resolution afterwards. Oh, and also they should never go out like punks. Oh, and don't make it a predictable death. The professional hunter becoming the hunted isn't really something new nowadays.

May 6, 2020 · One of the things Quint drank (and subsequentially crushed in his hand) was a Narragansett Beer. As a native Rhode Islander, it's great to see this RI Brewery repped on screen. The brewery is still running and they even have a Jaws themed 1975 collection of merch
